Europol - Guide for Exercising Data Subjects Rights
Individuals whose personal data are collected, held or otherwise processed by Europol are entitled to rights regarding their personal data. This Guide describes the modalities for exercising those rights.
Are you registered at Europol? Then you have a number of rights:
- You can ask for access.
- If it turns out that your data are incorrect or irrelevant, you can ask for rectification or erasure of your data.
- Do you disagree with Europol's decision on your request? Then you can lodge a complaint with the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS).
- You can ask to check whether the processing of your data in Europol is done lawfully (in accordance with the rules).
